Saint-Gobain Containers was recognized for manufacturing four award-winning glass containers at the 20th Clear Choice Awards.
Held annually by the Glass Packaging Institute, the Clear Choice Awards recognize innovative glass packaging in the food, beverage and cosmetic categories.
Submissions for the 2009 Clear Choice Awards were judged on innovation, package design and shelf impact.
Since the inception of the program in 1989, 59 containers manufactured by Saint-Gobain Containers have received the industry's top honor.
In 2009, White Rocket Wine Company's Silver Palm Cabernet Sauvignon won Overall Package Design
Bronco Wine Company's Down Under by Crane Lake received the Emerald
Award for Alcoholic Beverage packaging.
Frito-Lay, Inc. won the Amber
award for the Food category for Tostitos Chunky Salsa.

Point Creamery received the Conversion Recognition for the Traders
Point Creamery Fromage Blanc.
