Jean-Claude BREFFORT
Senior Vice-President, International Development and General Delegate to Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
Biography
Born in July 1948, Jean-Claude BREFFORT graduated from the Montpelier Business School, began his career in the Saint-Gobain Group in 1971.
Contracted as Export Sales Manager for the Glassware Division (Packaging Sector) he was appointed, successively:
- Financial Controller of Compagnie en 1976,
- Chief financial officer of the German Insulation division in 1981,
- Operations Director and CFO of the Insulation Branch in 1983,
- General Delegate in Scandinavia in 1986,
- General Delegate in Brazil and Argentine en 1993.
In April 2004, he was promoted Senior Vice-President of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain in charge of Human Resources and International Development.
As from June 1st, 2010, he is appointed as General Delegate to Brazil, Argentina and Chile, in addition to his responsibility as Senior Vice-President of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain in charge of International Development.
