Jérôme FESSARD
Senior Vice-President, President of the Packaging Sector
Biography
Born in August 1954, graduated from the French Polytechnique School, holding a Master in Science from the MIT and graduated from the French Engineering School Ponts et Chaussées, Jérôme FESSARD joined the Poliet group in 1986. He was subsequently head of Point.P for the Loire region (1987) and then of the Paris region (1989) before being made a member of the Poliet group Executive Committee.
In 1992, he was appointed Chairman of the Stradal Board in 1992. After Poliet was acquired by Saint-Gobain in 1996, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Oberland (a German company in the Packaging Sector) at the end of 1997 and then, in July 2000, Chairman of Raab Karcher (Building Distribution Sector).
Since February 1st, 2003, he has been Director of the Packaging Sector and, since April 1st, 2004, a Senior Vice-President of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain.
