Saint-Gobain signs Copenhagen Communique on climate change
On September 22, Saint-Gobain signed the Copenhagen Communiqué, a statement issued by The Prince of Wales' Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change, which calls for an ambitious, robust and equitable global deal on climate change that responds credibly to the scale and urgency of the crises facing the world today.
The same day, more than 500 businesses from across the globe signed up to pledge their support for the initiative. The statement was officially handed over to UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon before being conveyed to governments around the world.
