Saint-Gobain commits to energy-efficient buildings
Saint-Gobain has undertaken alongside 15 other CAC 40 index companies to reduce the energy consumed by its offices.
The companies signed an "Energy Efficiency Manifesto" for their buildings on September 29.
The companies will draw up and implement a program of concrete and measureable actions aimed at reducing the energy consumed by their buildings.
The program has the backing of EpE, France's Enterprise for the Environment association, which Pierre-André de Chalendar will chair in 2012.
The Group Saint-Gobain has launched in 2008 the CARE:4® programm to divide CO2 emissions in Saint-Gobain tertiary buildings by 4 by 2040.
