Saint-Gobain among the 100 most innovative companies in the world
The Group was singled out along with seven major industrial companies and three research organizations in France.
"This award is recognition of the quality and relevance of our innovation policy, which is a fundamental pillar of Saint-Gobain's strategy," asserted Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
"I would like to honor the significant work achieved by Didier Roux, President of Research and Innovation, and all the teams at our research centers for supporting Saint-Gobain's aim of becoming the reference for sustainable habitat."
The Top 100 Global Innovators program identifies the companies and research structures that are the most active in terms of innovation. The selection is based on four criteria: the success rate of patent applications, the international scope of the patent portfolio, the influence of the patent in terms of the number of citations in the professional literature and the number of patents.
